Character Illustrations

High School Art spent the last two academic weeks working on creating a character illustration that best illustrated aspects of themselves that they loved, or which they they had etc. Some students gave themselves superpowers, while others just changed the color of their hair. The point of this assignment was to learn a new drawing technique and create artwork that they might not otherwise be introduced to. Artists who work in illustration can be best seen in animated films, on TV shows/commercials, ADs/BIllboards, graphic novels, etc. it is a great skill to have and allows for a number of career paths.
